AGC Construction Fun Fair NAWIC coordinates with the Associated General Contractors of Alaska each fall for the Construction Fun Fair. This event is sponsored by AGC. The Member Firms show appreciation to their personnel, the construction workers that build Alaska. This is a family oriented affair. |

CAD Drafting Contest High Schools in the Anchorage and Mat-Su Valley participate in the CAD Drafting Contest. The winner of the Chapter contest has their submission entered into the Regional contest. The winner of the Regional contest advances to the National Contest. |

WIC Week March brings Women In Construction Week. This provides an opportunity for recognizing women in the industry. The WIC Week schedule will be available shortly. |

Block Kids This program is geared to interest children in grades 1-6 in the construction industry. Contestants are given a designated number of building blocks and other specified items for their creation. Winners of this event advance to regional and national competitions. Construction Garage Sale Held in early spring, the construction garage sale is a fund raiser that also helps our donors clear their yards before the busy summer construction season. Repeat customers come from all over south-central Alaska searching for treasure. |

Scholarship Golf Tournament All funds received in excess of the cost of putting the tournament on are placed into a scholarship fund for Alaskan students pursuing post-secondary education in a construction related field.
