Bipartisan Infrastructure

Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) was signed into law, which is a historic investment in our country’s aging infrastructure. This investment will create an estimated 800,000 jobs in the construction industry, which means that many funding recipients and contractors will be subject to Davis-Bacon regulations and prevailing wage requirements for the first time.

Learning outcomes would be:

•            The roles DOL plays in the training and educational efforts of the BIL on behalf of Contractors.

•            The types of projects under the BIL that are subject to Davis-Bacon Labor Standards.

•            Agency and Contractor Compliance Responsibilities as well as Worker rights under the BIL.
