Find Out How Paid Leave Works

As the pandemic has shown, coming to work when sick can have massive consequences. Many workers don’t have access to paid sick leave or even unpaid sick leave, or worse, they can’t afford to stay home when they are sick.

In this two-hour virtual presentation, Steven Yim with the Department of Labor will share an overview of which businesses are subjected to the Family Medical Leave Act, the eligibility requirements for employees, permission leave reasons, and notification requirements under federal law.
