Carpenter's Union Site Visit

Come join the NAWIC ladies for a Site Visit of Western States Regional Council of Carpenters.

Western States Regional Council of Carpenters, Anchorage location.

Steel constructed, 32,000 SF, 2 stories on a four acre lot. The building will house carpenter’s apprenticeship training center, administrative office space and meeting hall. Included will be open shop space, welding room, offices, conference rooms, open lobby with transaction counters, outdoor work space, parking for up to 71 vehicles without impeding on the loading area.  Exterior wall assembly utilizes air/weather barrier with thermal insulation and fiberglass girts outside of the building to minimize thermal transfer and increase efficiency. Large exterior glazed openings maximize the outdoor light with high volume fans in the shop to keep adequate air flow.
