About the Event

OSHA 10-hour training teaches basic safety and health information to entry-level workers in construction and the general industry. This training will be facilitated by Sarah Dow, HSE Superintendent at QAP and it is part of the OSHA-authorized outreach trainer program, which explains serious workplace hazards, workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file an OSHA complaint.

Our OSHA training features:

  • Interactive exercises and quizzes
  • Hazard recognition you might encounter on a site
  • Real-life case studies
  • An OSHA-authorized trainer who can answer your questions

NAWIC is offering this training complimentary and includes an OSHA Construction Safety Handbook. Upon completion of the 10 HR training, you will receive an OSHA 10 card  — a common requirement for employment in construction and other industries.

This is a two-part training session and will be in person at the AGC of Alaska office and virtually on Zoom. Space is limited to 18 people. Register to reserve your spot! A Zoom link will be provided in the reminder email after you register.
