About the Event
Are you ready to go on a super cool tour and see some modern fabrication equipment such as a computer-guided plasma burn table, shot blaster, a beam fabrication machine, press brakes, and a robotic plasma cutter? Then this is the tour for you!
NAWIC is heading to the banks of Ship Creek to visit STEELFAB, a locally owned steel company, service center, fabricator, and coater in Alaska. Their facility encompasses 84,000 square feet under one roof with an additional 16,000 craned outside storage providing more than 100,000 square feet of covered/ craned working space on 10 acres of property.
From the small locally owned shops to the large oil companies, they provide steel products and services to the oil, construction, and other industries of our great state.
Don’t miss out on a chance to see the behind-the-scenes action at this exclusive tour with Richard Faulkner from STEELFAB. This event is open to members and non-members, men and women (and feel free to bring a guest or your partner.)
Immediately following this tour, everyone is welcome to join us for a drink (and dinner) at 49th State Brewery.
