Tool Demo Day - Fairbanks

In honor of "Women in Construction" week, Alaska Industrial Hardware store in Fairbanks will be offering a "tool demo" day featuring hands-on stations to try out HILTI tools.

The Hilti trainers will introduce the need for and concepts of mechanical and chemical anchoring systems in concrete. Attendees will be able to drill, install and set a chemically anchored dowel or threaded rod into a concrete slab. You will be introduced to powder-actuated fastening and the Hilti DX-6 concrete nailer. You will be able to shoot concrete nails into the slab using live cartridges. Lastly, some of Hilti's specialty engineering products will be shown via PowerPoint, demonstrating some of the innovation and technology available to our customer base here in Alaska through AIH.
